I designed and led a string puppet workshop for 22 eleven year olds in a school. The idea behind the workshop was to create hybrid creatures, I asked the children to think of two or more animals they liked and to try and combine them into their own new creature. 

 

The workshop used all recycled and perishable materials, the bodies were made out of loo rolls and they were decorated with sweets, seeds and collected surplus materials.
